General Policies


W2ND HISTORIC INN POLICIES

W2ND Historic Inn is a small boutique property with four uniquely designed rooms offering an intimate setting catering to adults and romantic getaways. Therefore our policies are different than that of mainstream hotels and resorts.

Reservations
A credit card number is required to guarantee your stay. Payment for your stay will be charged to your card for the first night at the time of your reservation. THE BALANCE WILL BE CHARGED TO YOUR CARD 7 DAYS PRIOR TO YOUR ARRIVAL. Rates are shown per night, single or double occupancy. City of Mesa Transient Lodging and SalesTax (14.27%) is not included in the room rate and will be added to the final bill. All third-party reservations (Expedia, Booking.com, etc) require payment in full at the time of booking and are non-refundable.

Check In: 3 p.m. Check Out: 11:00 a.m.
We offer a flexible check-in after 3 p.m. We offer complete self-check-in, which will be explained in your electronic guidebook that you receive upon making your reservation. We of course are always here to meet your every need in person and will be on-site. We do offer early check-in and late check-out, see our indulgences. We simply ask that you let us know ahead of time, your estimated arrival, so we can make sure everything is perfect. If you are going to be arriving later than 6 p.m. we ask that you let us know, and when you do arrive that you are as quiet as possible as not to disturb sleeping guests.

Capacity
We have 4 guest rooms that can accommodate 2 guests per room.

Groups and Events
We do not host events or groups and do not offer room blocks for events. Given the Inns' size, we are not equipped or staffed to deliver our experiance to groups.

Guest Policy
Only registered guests are allowed in the guest rooms and on or in the properties common areas, grounds and pool. Unregistered individuals (such as bridesmaids, groomsman, photographers, make-up artists, etc. who are not staying at the Inn) are not allowed on the property without advanced approval from the Innkeepers.

Children
Due to the nature of the majority of our guests coming for a quiet and romantic getaway; no infants, toddlers, or children under the age of 10. Room occupancy still applies

Gift Certificates
To redeem all Gift Certificates, a Reservation must be made by phone.

Smoking
We are a smoke-free property. Smoking is not allowed inside the W2ND Historic Inn. Smoking outside is permissible, but not on porches or patios if other guests are enjoying them, Please note that if you smoke inside the inn, you are subject to a $250 smoking surcharge.

Parking
We have onsite parking in our backyard "green" parking area.  Upon arrival, you enter our driveway from Macdonald and head towards the gate to the parking area.   The back-in parking spots are on the left-hand side inside after passing thru the gate.  Please enter and pull to the right past the mulberry tree and then back up into the designated parking spaces and head on up to the front door. 

You may also park along the curb on Macdonald upon arrival.  Our area allows for two-hour parking Monday - Friday from 8 am to 5 pm on the street and unlimited street parking on weekends and evenings.

If you have an oversized vehicle, there is a free city parking lot just two houses down from the inn you are welcome to utilize. Please call us if you have any specific parking questions.

Pets
Although we love pets, we are not able to accommodate them at the inn to keep the inside of the building free of pet allergens. Shauna and Kurt do have two adorable pups, Roxy and Titus, that you will see around the grounds who would love your attention if you are missing your furry companions.

Guest Rooms and Inn Accessibility
Three guest rooms, The Traveler, The Romantic, and the Visionary are located on the main floor of the inn. The Storyteller does require climbing one flight of stairs. Three steps are required to be climbed to enter the inn at the front porch.

Trip Insurance
We Highly recommend TRAVEL INSURANCE for the unforeseen times you need to cancel your reservation.

Cancellations
We understand that for any number of reasons you may have to change your plans. Your cancellation will be confirmed to you by e-mail. Do not assume your reservation is canceled unless you receive this e-mail. All Cancellations will be charged a $25.00 administrative fee per room. On reservations of 3 nights or longer all cancellations will be charged one room night total as an administrative fee. This will be charged to the credit card number that was provided to guarantee your reservation. Cancellations or changes within 14 days prior to arrival are non-refundable unless we are able to re-book. We will refund all room charges for re-booked nights minus the administrative fee. There is no refund for early departure. If W2ND Historic Inn is unable to be open due to State of Arizona Mandates, all cancellation fees will be waived. All third-party Reservations (Expedia, Booking.com, etc) are Non-refundable.

Privacy Policy
At W2ND Historic Inn we are dedicated to protecting your privacy and safeguarding your personally identifiable information.

Our main purpose in collecting your personal information is to provide you with a streamlined experience in making reservations at W2ND Historic Inn. We only collect information about you that we consider necessary for achieving this. Personally, identifiable information is only obtained when making a reservation. All identifiable information provided will not be disclosed to anyone unless we are specifically requested to do so. W2ND Historic Inn does not give or sell to anyone any information we collect on our site.

We take security seriously. When users make a reservation we use every precaution to safeguard it online and offline.

Your payment and personal information are always safe. Our Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software is the industry standard and encrypts all of your personal information, including credit card number, name, and address so that it cannot be read over the internet.

W2ND Historic Inn may amend this Privacy Statement from time to time in order to meet changes in the regulatory environment, business needs, or to satisfy the needs of our guests, properties, strategic marketing partners, and service providers.

ARRIVAL TIMES
3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
If arriving outside of check-in times, please call to make arrangements.

AUTO-COLLECT
At the time of booking, the first night's rate will be collected. Payment for all retail items and gift certificates will also be collected. Applies to: all reservations.


SCHEDULED DEPOSIT
7 days before arrival, 100% of the reservation balance will be collected. If a reservation is booked "last-minute" (within the scheduled time frame), the initial deposit will be collected in addition to the scheduled amount. Applies to: all reservations.


CHILDREN & PETS
Children are welcome with an accompanying adult. Pets are not allowed.

CREDIT CARD SECURITY
Your credit card information is stored and processed securely.
